Blue Jays snap losing streak with 20 runs in win over AL-leading Rays

The Toronto Blue Jays snapped their five-game losing streak in a spectacular way, scoring 20 runs in a win over the American League-leading Tampa Bay Rays.

The 20 runs including 10 off of position players pitching for the Rays in the eighth and ninth innings.

The Blue Jays had 27 hits in the game. George Springer came a double shy of the cycle while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the way with six RBI. In all, 12 different Blue Jays recorded hits.

Jose Berrios pitched seven innings of one run ball, allowing only five hits. Tim Mayza and Adam Cimber closed the game out.
