John Krasinski’s Kids Are Convinced He Works in an Actual Office: ‘They Don’t Know What I Do’

John Krasinski might be a well known entertainer, chief, and maker, yet his children don’t get it. The Jack Ryan star showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Thursday night, where he focused on how girls Hazel, 8, and Violet, 6, believe he’s lying with regards to his job on The Workplace, the long-running parody that sent off his profession.

“They were watching the main episode and my most seasoned, it turns out she’s a screen talker-atter, so she’s conversing with the screen,” he said.

“That’s what she’ll adore,” Krasinski sneered. “Then she’ll be like, ‘There’s an English form of you?’ And I’ll be like, ‘Definitely.’ ”

Noticing that Unpolished had an early advantage on cool focuses by playing Mary Poppins, Krasinski conceded, “I think my children thought she had hitched me out of good cause, similar to, ‘You’re so good to wed a bookkeeper’ since they don’t have the foggiest idea what I do.” The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights (11:30 p.m. ET) on CBS.
